What is Ledger® Live?
Ledger® Live is the official interface for Ledger® hardware wallets. Available as a desktop and mobile app, it allows users to create and manage multiple accounts, send and receive crypto, check real-time balances, access staking or swap features (where supported), and perform secure firmware updates for your device.
Download & Install
To get started, visit Ledger Live for platform choices. For direct setup instructions, go to ledger.com/start. Choose Ledger Live Download if you want the desktop client, or install the Ledger Live App on iOS or Android stores to manage on the go. Always download the software from official Ledger® domains to avoid malicious copies.
Ledger Live Login & Security
Ledger Live login is a device-authorized process — you pair your Ledger® hardware and confirm actions (like sending funds) on the device itself. There is no central password server; your private keys remain on the Ledger® device. Protect your recovery phrase and set a strong device PIN during setup following the guidance at ledger.com/start.

- Always verify downloads from ledger.com.
- Never share your 24-word recovery phrase — Ledger® staff will not ask for it.
- Keep Ledger Live and your device firmware up to date through the official app.
- Use a data-capable USB cable and, if possible, a dedicated computer for sensitive operations.
